Disaster Aid Continues

WJUMC continues to accept donations for those needing help from the devestation brought on from Hurricane Helena.
Currently volunteers are helping from 9:00am to 6:00pm every day. Over 400 sandwiches are going out daily to workers in the affected areas of Ashe County.
Here are some of the items currently needed to aid citizens in the impacted area:
Laundry detergent
Dog food and cat food
Paper towels
Bleach/Cleaning supplies
Canned chicken/tuna
Charcoal
Diapers
Mops
Squeegees/shovels-stuff for mud removal
Ziploc bags, any size
